Police update: Shooting incident at Carseldine, QLD

Detectives from Gateway North Criminal Investigation Branch and Taskforce Uniform Knot have today taken three men into custody following extensive investigations into a shooting at Carseldine on April 27.

Several shots were discharged into a house on Ray Street around 12.30am before a car fled the scene. The occupants of the home were uninjured.

Police today executed a search warrant at an address at Kadaga Place, Caboolture around 9am where two Caboolture men, aged 23 and 25 were taken into custody without incident.

They have both been charged with one count each of acts intended to main and unlawful possession of a weapon.

Both were denied police bail and will appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court tomorrow (April 30).

A third man aged 20 from South Ripley was arrested this afternoon at Yamanto and is currently assisting detectives with their inquiries.

Investigations are continuing.
