Police update: Sudden deaths at Waterford West, QLD

Police have charged a woman with murder following the investigation into the deaths of two children at Waterford West today.

Officers were called to a Logan Reserve Road address at around 1.35pm, following reports two children had been located, unresponsive inside a car.

The two girls aged one and two were declared deceased at the scene.

A 27-year-old Waterford West woman, who is known to the girls, has been charged with two counts of murder and will appear at the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Monday November 25.

Police are urging members of the public who may have any information regarding this matter to contact police.
