Police update: Wounding at Caloundra West, QLD

A 42-year-old man has been charged after allegedly wounding another at Caloundra West on Wednesday, April 13.

At approximately 1pm police were called to Moreton Bay Drive, where officers located a 45-year-old man with stab wounds to his neck, back and chest.

The man was transported to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a critical condition.

The 42-year-old man attended Pomona Police Station at approximately 11am yesterday (Thursday April 14), where he was subsequently arrested.

He has since been charged with attempted murder and enter premises and commit indictable offence.

The Caloundra West man has been denied police bail and will appear in Maroochydore Magistrates Court tomorrow (Saturday April 16).
