A flood-damaged pontoon at Lance Ferris Wharf in Fawcett Park, Ballina is being replaced.
Council’s contractor will replace the eastern gangway and eastern pontoon on Tuesday 12 December and Wednesday 13 December 2023 (weather permitting).
The Lance Ferris Wharf pontoon will be replaced by barge on the river and floated from the Fishery Creek boat ramp at West Ballina. Access to the Fishery Creek boat ramp at West Ballina will, at times, be impacted. Lance Ferris Wharf will be closed to the public while works take place.
This work will complete the replacement of the two pontoons at Lance Ferris Wharf.
