One new positive COVID-19 case has been recorded in the Northern Territory in the past 24 hours.
A 25-year-old woman who arrived on a flight from Melbourne on 10 October 2021, and travelled directly from the airport to the Centre for National Resilience (CNR), has tested positive to COVID-19.
She was one of eight close contacts of a positive case on that flight, who are all in quarantine at the Centre for National Resilience.
The woman has mild symptoms and is under the care of NT Health at the Centre for National Resilience.
There are currently 10 active cases in the NT.
