The NSW Liberals and Nationals have a plan to support families, back jobs and get New South Wales back to the top of the pack.

A Sloane Liberal and Nationals Government will deliver practical cost of living relief that puts money back into household budgets and makes life easier for families.

Since Labor came to office they have seen a $20 billion tax windfall and families across NSW have nothing to show for it.

Taxes have increased by 31% under Labor and it’s money that’s coming out of the budgets of hardworking families and small businesses pockets across NSW.

Under our plan we will:

  • Deliver practical cost of living relief with a $100 car registration rebate and a reduction in the toll cap to $50.
  • Put downward pressure on household and business power bills by increasing energy supply, improving energy security and generating more power closer to where it is used, reducing reliance on costly transmission infrastructure.
  • Restore the Regional Seniors Travel Card so the most vulnerable members of our communities are not left without the support they deserve.

Leader of the Opposition Kellie Sloane said too many families felt they were working harder but going backwards.

“Families don’t expect government to solve every problem, but they do expect government to not make life harder,” Ms Sloane said.

“That is why we are focused on practical measures that put money back into household budgets and help families manage the cost of living.”

Leader of the NSW Nationals Gurmesh Singh said Labor had made life harder for families.

“One of Labor’s first decisions was to scrap the Regional Seniors Travel Card for hundreds of thousands of seniors across regional New South Wales,” Mr Singh said.

“We are committed to restoring practical support that helps families with the real costs they face every day.”
