Jeremy Rockliff,Minister for Disability Services and Community Development

Tasmanian Men’s Shed Association (TMSA) President Mr Keith Ellis has today stepped down from his role as President after a long term association with the TMSA, serving in many roles over a 10 year period.

I thank Mr Ellis for his service to the TMSA as the peak body for men and community sheds, which is an important role in representing and supporting the development of sheds and their members.

As coordinator of the Clarence Plains Community Shed, Keith was instrumental in securing funding, promoting men’s health initiatives and overseeing the Clarence Shed’s extension.

The Vice President of the TMSA, Mr David Seen, will be Acting President until a permanent appointment is made.
