Major work is underway on the brand-new Huntly Station, which will give passengers in the growing community access to trains close to where they live.
The new station is the second of three stations being funded by the Victorian Government, as part of the Bendigo and Echuca Line Upgrade.
With major works under way, coaches will replace trains between Swan Hill and Bendigo from Tuesday 8 February until Wednesday 16 February.
Coaches will then replace all Bendigo and Swan Hill trains for the entire journey from Thursday 17 February until Sunday 27 February.
On the Bendigo and Echuca line, coaches will replace trains between Southern Cross and Echuca from Thursday 17 February until Sunday 27 February.

The new Huntly Station project includes a new single-sided platform, seating and shelter, bike hoops, a car park with lighting and CCTV, as well as a bus stop and two bus bays.
Concept designs have since been released to give locals a glimpse of what the new station will look like.
Crews are set to install precast concrete panels for the platform structure, building on the platform foundation works completed in October last year. Earthworks are already taking place at the site, west of the level crossing at Wakeman Road.
The station – which has been fast tracked by nearly a year – is targeted for completion by mid this year. It follows the opening of the new Goornong Station in December last year, which saw passengers stop at the station for the first time after a nearly 43-year break in service.
The delivery of Raywood Station is expected to be complete by late 2022. Earthworks, platform foundations and construction of the station carpark will soon commence at the site, along with track works, including ballasting and re-sleepering a 340-metre section to accommodate the new 180 metre-long platform.
