MidCoast Council
Stage one of the long-awaited Blackhead Road, Hallidays Point footpath is tracking along nicely.
MidCoast Council Crews have been hard at work already reaching the halfway point of the first stage – 300 metres between The Boulevarde at Tallwoods and Diamond Beach.
Workers are expected to be on site until early March.
The project is a part of Council’s Capital Works program and funded through the Accelerated Infrastructure fund – Round 3 and the Get NSW Active 2023/24 programs.
During different periods of work on the project sections of the road will be reduced to one lane with speed restrictions in place.
