Property Council appoints Bruce Djite as SA Executive Director

The Property Council of Australia has announced that it has appointed Bruce Djite as its South Australian Executive Director.

Mr Djite is currently the Chief Executive of the Committee for Adelaide, where he has established a strong profile and purpose for that organisation in South Australia. Prior to this, he was the Football Director of Adelaide United, where he helped lead a transformation of the culture and performance of that club, a role he moved to following his career as a professional footballer and Socceroo.

Property Council Chief Executive Ken Morrison said he was delighted that someone of Mr Djite’s talents and profile would be leading the organisation in South Australia.

“Bruce is a natural leader with strong political and business connectivity. I’m sure he will be able to build on the strong legacy left by Daniel Gannon who has now transitioned into a national role,” Mr Morrison said.

Mr Djite said it was a privilege to be able to lead the Property Council in South Australia.

“I am delighted to be taking up this opportunity and continuing to make a contribution to the future of our state representing such an important industry for South Australia,” Mr Djite said.

“I look forward to working closely with Property Council members, Division Councillors, staff members and stakeholders.

“As a proud South Australian, I am very driven to play a part in ensuring the state fulfils its potential and thrives.

“I’m also excited to be championing an industry which is the state’s largest employer and shapes our city, suburbs and towns.

Mr Djite will commence with the Property Council early in the new year. Until then, former Executive Director Bryan Moulds will continue to lead the Division in an interim capacity.
