Strike Force WINX Detectives have arrested a 15-year-old male in relation to an unlawful entry in which two vehicles were stolen from an Alice Springs home earlier this week.
Around 4:20am it will be alleged two offenders gained entry into a Braitling residence, where they located two sets of car keys and subsequently stole the two vehicles parked in the driveway.
One of the vehicles was located abandoned in the Sadadeen area and further enquiries by Detectives located the youth at a home nearby.
The youth was arrested and charged with;
- Unlawful entry
- Stealing
- Unlawful use of a motor vehicle – aggravated
- Unlawful use of a motor vehicle
- Drive unlicensed
He was remanded in custody and to appear before the Alice Springs Youth Justice Court at a later date.
