Public libraries survey, now open

Swan Hill Regional Library service is participating in a statewide public library survey from 15 – 28 March.

The survey can be completed online here.

Libraries Manager, Camille Cullinan said there was much to learn from survey data.

“We are hoping the data will provide us with an insight into current public library use and provide library customers with the opportunity to share their experience of services they receive and about services they want.

“Survey insight will increase our understanding of current community use and their attitudes to public libraries as well as help us to identify key issues and barriers,” Ms Cullinan said.

Ms Cullinan said each library service would be provided with their local data, from the survey responses.

“We are encouraging all our library users, whether they use the library services online or in person to complete the survey and help us make our library service even better,” Ms Cullinan said.

The statewide public library survey will be followed up with a statewide library census, later in the year.

There is also a link to the survey on the library’s website and facebook page, QR codes on posters around the library, iPad available within the library and hard copies available at all of our library branches.
