Raining Poetry in Hills

The community is invited to submit a poem for consideration in this year’s iteration of Raining Poetry in the Hills.

Part of Raining Poetry in Adelaide, this project is a street festival led by post graduate students from the University of Adelaide, under the auspices of the JM Coetzee Centre for Creative Practice.

This winter, selected poems will be stencilled across the district with invisible paint, so that their artistic wisdom is revealed only after it rains.

Theme: PRECARITY

Poems of unpredictability, uncertainty, instability, and insecurity

Guidelines:

  • One poem per person
  • Four lines per poem
  • No more than 24 characters per line (including spaces)
  • No identifying information on entries (submissions will be read anonymously)

There is no cost for submitting a poem for consideration, and no payment will be made for works selected.
