As we approach the start of this holy month, we extend our warmest wishes to our Muslim community members. May this be a time of spiritual reflection, renewal, and growth for all who observe.
Ramadan is the Islamic holy month and is always held on the 9th month of the Islamic Lunar calendar. It is a time of fasting, self-reflection, good deeds and time with family.

Each day of Ramadan ends with Iftar, where families and friends come together to break their fast. As part of Merri-bek City Council’s Ramadan celebration, we want to introduce you to restaurants around the municipality that will be open for Iftar.
