Raptor Squad officers have charged two Hells Angels Outlaw Motorcycle Gang (OMCG) members following an alleged assault near Sydney’s CBD.
About 1pm yesterday (Monday 6 July 2026), police were called to Distillery Drive, Pyrmont, following reports of an assault inside an apartment building.
Officers attached to State Crime Command’s Raptor Squad attended and were told about 11.40am that day, a 34-year-old man arrived at the location to make a delivery, when he was approached by two unknown men.
The two men, who were armed with a knife, followed the man into a lift where they allegedly assaulted him multiple times.
Following inquiries, about 6pm yesterday, Raptor Squad officers executed a crime scene warrant at Distillery Drive, Pyrmont, where they seized a large kitchen knife, 565g of white powder, 200g of GBL, 14 Valium tablets, a Dedicated Encrypted Criminal Communication Device (DECCD) and Hells Angels OMCG clothing.
A 27-year-old and 33-year-old man were arrested and taken to Day Street Police Station.
The men were charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm in company of other(s), armed with intent commit indictable offence, participate criminal group contribute criminal activity and affray.
They were both refused bail to appear at Bail Division Local Court 7 today (Tuesday 7 July 2026).
