Two of Australasia’s longest running podcasts devoted to educating property professionals and property enthusiasts have been acquired by Realty Media Group, an Australian Proptech business, for an undisclosed amount in stock and cash.
The acquisition expands Realty’s digital capability and builds on its national footprint as the group pursues its vision to “connect people and property differently”.
Group CEO Troy Rushton said “Our team researched the market to identify prospective solutions to broaden our in-house capabilities”. He continued “Whilst we had several discussions, we knew immediately upon engaging with Kevin Turner there was total alignment for integration with our flagship realty.com.au”.
“We immediately moved to acquire the shows Kevin had been producing for many years which included the full library of content for Real Estate Talk and Real Estate UNCUT and the associated digital assets”. As part of the acquisition, Turner joined the board as Content & Partnership Director.
