Reappeal to locate man missing from Wellington

Police are re-appealing for public assistance to locate a man last seen in the state’s Central West last month.

Alfred Mahoney, aged 64, was last seen at a home on Clive Street, Wellington, on Friday 23 February 2024.

When he could not be located or contacted, police were notified and officers from Orana Mid-Western Police District commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for Alfred’s welfare due to medical concerns and his behaviour being out of character.

He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 175cm tall of thin build with grey hair and hazel eyes. He has a tattoo on his left arm and shoulder and one on his chest.

He was last seen wearing a checkered blue shirt, blue jeans and has a walking stick.

Police believe he may have travelled to the Tamworth area.
