Reappeal to locate missing man – Orana Mid-Western

Police are reappealing for public assistance to locate a man missing in the state’s west.

Kent Nilsson, aged 76, is known to live a transient lifestyle, travelling throughout NSW.

He used the postal addresses of friend to receive mail and was last seen when he collected mail in Alectown about 12 months ago.

Having not being seen or heard from since this time, Kent was reported missing to officers attached to Central West Police District on Thursday 26 October 2023, commenced inquiries into his whereabouts and are now appealing for public assistance.

Following extensive inquiries, police have reason to believe Kent may have been in the Narromine township about 10.40am on Wednesday 25 October 2023.

Kent is of Swedish descent, having lived in Australia for some 40 years; however, has no known family here. He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, with white receding hair and a white beard and was last known to be using a gold Mazda 323 sedan with cancelled registration, CY-96-WV. He is known to use a white/blue pushbike with saddlebags hanging off both sides and front.

Kent is known to frequent the Orange, Parkes, Forbes, Alectown, Peak Hill, Tomingley and Dubbo areas.
