Police are reappealing for public assistance to locate a woman missing from Lismore.
Stephanie Cordery, aged 42, was last seen on Woodlark Street, Lismore about 5.30am on Wednesday 5 August 2026.
When she could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Richmond Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.
Following inquires, Sephanie’s vehicle was located on Newton Drive at Nimbin on Wednesday 5 August 2026.
Extensive searches have since occurred in the Newton Drive and Upper Tuntable Falls Road areas involving local police, assisted by Police Rescue, the Dog Unit, NSW SES, and NSW RFS.
On Wednesday 19 August 2026 and Thursday 20 August 2026, the Dog Unit and Police Rescue returned to the area for a search; however, Stephanie was not located.
Police hold serious concerns for her welfare as she lives with a medical condition and requires medication.
She is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 165cm tall, of medium build with brown hair.
Stephanie is known to frequent the Ballina, Lismore and Nimbin areas.
