Hundreds of people are expected to converge on Alice Springs this weekend for the much-anticipated FABalice Festival. The inaugural three-day event has a wide range of attractions and entertainment planned to celebrate love, pride and the colourful Alice Springs community.
The Festival is an important part of the Territory Labor Governments continuing investment in improving social, cultural and economic conditions for Territorians.
Kicking off the rainbow festival tonight is the Opening Drag Crawl, followed by a Pride Parade, Drag Races, an Ex-DRAG-Vaganza and a party at THROB on TODD Nightclub tomorrow, plus a Pool Party and Outdoor Cinema on Sunday.
Event organisers encourage everyone to get behind the FABalice Festival, celebrating the diversity of our community.
The three-day event also celebrates the making of The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert film 25 years ago, with a screening of the famous movie on Sunday at The Gapview Hotel from 7pm.
