In a huge win for our region, Red Hill South and Sorrento have taken out silver and gold medals in their respective categories at this year’s Victorian Top Tourism Town Awards.

Run by the Victoria Tourism Industry Council, the Awards aim to highlight hard working local tourism businesses and the value they bring to their towns and communities, and to celebrate outstanding regional destinations across Victoria.

Last night’s medal haul confirms that Red Hill South and Sorrento offer visitors and residents plenty in the way of natural beauty, dining and accommodation, outdoor activities, art and much, much more.

Sorrento will now go on to represent Victoria in the Top Small Tourism Town category at the Australian Top Tourism Town Awards.

Red Hill South’s entry in the Top Tiny Tourism Town was submitted by Mornington Peninsula Shire, while Sorrento’s entry in the Small Tourism Town category was submitted by Sorrento Beachside Tourism.
