Reflections Holiday Parks Responds to

Yesterday’s NSW Public Health Order Now in Place

In this rapidly changing COVID-19 landscape, Reflections Holiday Parks will be restricting access to their 37 holiday parks from midnight tonight, in line with yesterday’s announcement from the NSW Government to close caravan parks and camping grounds.

The NSW Minister for Health and Medical Research, The Hon. Brad Hazzard, MP, has now confirmed the NSW position and made an Order under the Public Health Act 2010 which bans mass gatherings, places restrictions on other gatherings and requires the closure of caravan parks and camping grounds.

Prohibited activities and venues will apply from midnight tonight (26 March 2020).

The Minister directs that caravan parks and camping grounds must not be open to members of the public except for the purposes of:

i) Accommodating permanent residents of the caravan park or camping ground or other persons who have no other place of permanent residence, and

ii) Allowing visitors to visit persons referred to in (i)

This means:

· Permanent residents and park workers whose home is in the park can stay

· Permanent residents’ visitors will be allowed with some restrictions

· Travellers already in the park with no other permanent residence will be allowed to stay

Reflections is actively monitoring Covid-19 updates from the Australian Government Department of Health and will keep communities, guests and media updated via its web site at www.reflectionsholidayparks.com.au, Facebook or via public/media announcements.

Reflections Holiday Parks CEO Steve Edmonds said park teams were working around the clock to ensure compliance with Government and industry direction. “Nothing is more important than beating this virus and keeping people safe,” Mr Edmonds said.
