Register now for Land Management Forum

Some of the region’s best land management minds will be able to assist Mitchell Shire Council residents on animal and pest control, protecting waterways, weed identification and land management plans at the 2019 Land Management Forum.

The free event – being held in conjunction with Hume City Council and City of Whittlesea – aims to help inspire people to learn and share information while expanding networks.

Presentations will be given on:

  • Rabbit and Pest Animal Control
  • Protecting Waterways and Increasing Biodiversity on your property and in your garden
  • How to develop a land management plan for your property
  • Weed identification and integrated control

People who express an interest in land management will receive a laminated aerial photo of their property to assist in developing an individual property management plan.

Euroa Arboretum’s Cath Olive will present to participants about how a land management plan can benefit property, while Chilean Needle Grass Guru Charles Gretch will offer a hygiene demonstration. The Gecko cLan Network will share their learnings from a community rabbit control program the Granite Creek Project, Euroa.

The Land Management Forum will be held at Greater Beveridge Community Centre on Saturday 16 November from 9.45am to 3pm.
