Reigniting Australian live music

The Australian Government is supporting the return of live music across the nation, with $2.5 million in grants to be shared by 99 venues under round three of the $20 million Live Music Australia program.

The program is designed to bring more original live Australian music to communities by funding small-to-medium venues across the country – from pubs in the remote outback, to clubs and theatres in major capital cities.

The grants will support venues throughout 2022 as they reopen and rebuild their capacity for live music programming as restrictions begin to ease.

More than 300 venues have been supported through the first three rounds of the program, with applications for round four to open later this year.
