Reopening of SkyPoint, Dreamworld and WhiteWater World

Dreamworld

We are excited to announce the staged re-opening of our venues from July, with all parks and attractions expected to be re-open in time for what we expect will be a successful September holiday period.

SkyPoint Observation Deck and Climb will re-open on 10 July. The SkyPoint team is looking forward to re-opening and can’t wait to welcome back guests into the venue.
The dates for the staged re-opening of Dreamworld and WhiteWater World are to be confirmed in coming weeks as we receive more clarity on the opening of the Queensland border, the lifting of other restrictions and the outcome of current discussions in relation to Federal and Queensland State Government funding.
“Our approved world class industry COVID SAFE Plan gives us the green light to open our theme parks at 50% capacity. If the current COVID-19 trends continue, we hope to able to operate at full capacity in time for the busy September holiday season. It will take some time to properly implement various COVID SAFE measures and to recommission our rides and attractions. We will not compromise the safety and wellbeing of our team members, loyal passholders and guests by rushing our re-opening.” Ardent Leisure Theme Parks and Attractions Chief Executive Officer, John Osborne said.
“We believe there is increasing demand for our parks and attractions as people from all over Australia look for an opportunity to enjoy a great entertainment experience on the Gold Coast.”
“We intend to progressively start standing up our team members over the coming weeks, starting with those required to prepare for our parks and attractions re-opening.”
