Report issues quick and easy with new online portal

The City of Casey has launched a new online portal making it easier than ever for residents to report an issue in Casey that needs addressing.

Whether it be a pothole, cracked footpath, broken playground equipment or a fallen tree, simply jump online, snap some photos and provide a few details. Council crews will then get to work as soon as possible rectifying the problem.

City of Casey Mayor, Cr Susan Serey said the new online portal was designed to be mobile-friendly, so residents can let Council know on the spot about any issues they come across.

“In most cases, sending us a photo is the easiest and quickest way to notify us of issues that need addressing. That’s why a key feature of the new online portal is the ability to take a photo and upload it to show us what the issue is,” Cr Serey said.

“The sooner we know, the sooner we can act. We need residents to report theses issue, you are the eyes and ears of keeping council’s presentation the envy of other councils.”

Cr Serey said Casey Council was committed to creating better customer service, especially through the use of improved technology and digital channels.

“We value and support innovations and this online portal is another example of how we can use technology to make it easier for our community to communicate with us, so that we can address issues faster and more efficiently than ever before.”
