Reporting Entity System Transformation update

2023 is already shaping up to be a busy year for the Reporting Entity System Transformation (REST) program. AUSTRAC would like to thank you for your continued participation and support as we progress significant changes to AUSTRAC Online.

REST December webinar

Thank you to those who joined us for our end-of-year webinar, which focussed on the progress of the REST program and what changes you can expect to see to AUSTRAC Online over the next 12 months.

If you missed the webinar or would like a recap, check out our update for business which summarises the content covered.

Designing the new AUSTRAC Online user interface

We recently undertook a series of workshops with reporting entities in our Customer Advisory Group (CAG) on the proposed design concepts for the new AUSTRAC Online user interface.

There was some consistent feedback from REs in terms of what you would like to see in the new user interface, including:

  • the ability to track the status of transaction reports
  • personalised options such as shortcuts or quick links
  • a knowledge hub with up-to-date information
  • an enhanced notification functionality.

We are now considering all feedback and look forward to inviting CAG members to comment on updated design concepts later this year. Thank you to our CAG for providing this invaluable feedback.

Coming soon

Over the next few months, we will be reaching out to our CAG and seeking their input on:

  • the threshold transaction report consultations which were held late last year
  • suspicious matter reports
  • the new AUSTRAC Online portal design.

Get involved

We are continually consulting with REs to learn what you want to see as we transition to the new AUSTRAC Online over the next few years. We rely on your participation to ensure we build a system that meets your needs.
