Residents assaulted and threatened with firearm during home invasion, NSW

Police are investigating a home invasion in Sydney’s south-west.

About 10.20pm (Wednesday 30 January 2019), two men wearing balaclavas forced entry to a home on Glen Osmond Crescent, Bossley Park.

They threatened the four adult male occupants with a handgun and knives, tying their wrists together and making them sit in the garage.

They then used one of the victims, a 20-year-old man, to escort them around the home collecting property.

They also punched the man in the face.

The offenders were in the home for about 20 minutes before fleeing the scene.

Officers from Fairfield City Police Area Command attended and established a crime scene.

The victims sustained scratches and redness to their wrists however there were no serious injuries.

Inquiries into the incident continue.
