Applicants still have time to submit their nominations for this year’s Resources Sector Awards for Excellence. The deadline for submissions has been extended to 5pm, Tuesday 12 April 2022.
For more than 30 years the department has recognised and celebrated exceptional environmental projects throughout the resources sector, and encouraged higher industry standards in environmental management and more recently celebrated meaningful community partnerships.
Recipients of the Golden Gecko Award for environmental excellence or the Community Partnership Resources Sector Award, set an example to industry by promoting innovation and excellence, sharing their experiences and highlighting their respect for their staff, the natural environment, the community in which they operate, and the broader Western Australian community.
Nominate an individual or company for their leadership, and acknowledge the outstanding contributions to the responsible development of Western Australia’s resources.
