Council is conducting a review of all arts, culture and events services provided by the West Gippsland Arts Centre with the aim of identifying opportunities for improvement.

This initiative is part of the Council’s Service Planning and Review Program to improve the effectiveness, efficiency and quality of Council services as outlined in the Council Plan.

As part of the review, community members and customers are being asked about their experience (if any) and knowledge of the West Gippsland Arts Centre.

A short 9-question online survey has been prepared and is estimated to take around 5 minutes to complete. Survey responses will help identify service improvement opportunities ensuring they are community-focused.

The survey can be accessed at www.surveymonkey.com/r/PZJ776J and will remain open until Sunday 7 June 2020.

When completing the survey, community members are asked to think about any interactions with the Arts Centre prior to the COVID-19 pandemic. Feedback is also encouraged from those with little to no interaction.

This survey is designed to be anonymous and Council will not capture any identifying or personal information. All responses submitted will be used for the purposes of the review.

Over the last year, Council has also conducted service reviews into it’s aged and disability services, community compliance services, family day care and the planning permit process for new businesses (Better Approvals).

As noted by Mayor Cr Danny Goss

“We’re conducting a review of our arts, culture and events services and your input will help guide how we can best provide for our community. Whether you are a regular user or a non-attender, we’d love to hear from you. Please take five minutes to complete this short survey and let us know your feedback.”
