Council, at its 22 July 2026 meeting, resolved to revoke Local Planning Policy 3.17 – Hilton Neighbourhood Centre.
Local Planning Policy 3.17 – Hilton Neighbourhood Centre has been revoked as a result of the City’s ongoing schedule of review of its local planning policies.
The aim of the City’s review is to simplify the planning framework, remove superfluous and outdated criteria, and revert to the updated Residential Design Codes (R-Codes) where appropriate.
