There were no further impacts on Friday from the recent rain.
Council will updates on bridge and road status as they arise.
BRIDGES
Although water may no longer cover the deck, Council staff need to inspect bridges for damage before they are opened.
Current Bridge Status:
- Sherwood Bridge is CLOSED
- Turners Flat Bridge is OPEN
- Temagog Bridge is CLOSED
- Toorooka Bridge is CLOSED
- Bellbrook Bridge is CLOSED
- Dungay Creek Causeway is CLOSED
- Dowlings Falls Causeway is CLOSED
Please do not cross any bridges that have water across the deck. There may be hidden dangers.
ROADS
- Old Aerodrome Road, Aldavilla is CLOSED
- Gladstone Street Underpass is CLOSED
- Euroka Road at Theresa Street is CLOSED
- Collombatti Road at the Tea Tree Farm is OPEN
- The Kempsey to Armidale Road between the Forest Way intersection and the Armidale Regional Council boundary is now OPEN to local residents for essential travel and emergency services
- Second Lane is CLOSED
- Maria River Road is CLOSED
Please continue to travel with caution in low lying areas.
FLOOD GATES
All flood gates are closed
- Kinchela Creek cross over and relief gates are CLOSED
- Belmore River cross over and relief gates are CLOSED
- Christmas Creek flood gates are CLOSED
- Euroka Creek flood gates are CLOSED
