Due to scheduled underground drainage works in the Fawckner Drive area, please note the following changes:
From Tuesday 18 January until Friday 11 February
- Fawckner Drive carpark will only be accessible from the Nunn Street entry.
- Patrons accessing the Senior Citizens Centre are advised to take care and note that access will only be available via the rear carpark (entry via Carrier Street south).
From Wednesday 26 January until Friday 11 February
- Fawckner Drive will be reduced to a single lane with traffic management in place.
- Access to the rear of the Benalla Post Office will be limited while underground drainage works are completed.
Access to the Fawckner Drive carpark, Edward ‘Weary’ Dunlop Learning Centre (Library), foreshore and skate park will still be available, however, we strongly advise motorists prepare for delays and, if possible park elsewhere during this time.
Further traffic management will be in place from 14 February onwards when reconstruction of the road pavement between Nunn and Carrier Streets is carried out.
