Road rage assault in Narre Warren

Casey Crime Investigation Unit detectives are seeking public assistance following an assault in Narre Warren yesterday afternoon.

Investigators have been told the victim and his girlfriend were driving west on Princes Highway about 2.50pm when a car pulled out of Lauderdale Road into the oncoming traffic.

The 22-year-old Bairnsdale man was taken to hospital with swelling and cuts to his head.

The offending vehicles are described as a black Hyundai hatch and a red Ford Fairlane.
