Road toll rises after crash at Salisbury Heights, South Australia

The road toll has risen to 99 following the death of an elderly man involved in a three car crash at Salisbury Heights earlier this week.

Just after 3.30pm on Wednesday 20 November, three cars collided at the intersection of Main North Road and The Grove Way at Salisbury Heights.

The driver of a blue Mitsubishi Lancer, an 80-year-old man from Angle Vale was seriously injured in the crash and was conveyed to the Royal Adelaide Hospital for treatment.

Sadly, late on Thursday 22 November, the elderly man died in hospital from his injuries.

Major Crash Investigators are examining the cause of the crash and ask anyone who witnessed the collision or saw the blue Mitsubishi travelling south on Main North Road prior to the crash including any dash-cam vision of the vehicle, to please contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
