Road toll rises, South Australia

The State’s road toll has risen to 14 following the death of an elderly woman involved in a collision late last month.

The woman from Glenelg East was knocked over by a bus on Tuesday 29 January, as she used a pedestrian crossing at the Modbury interchange.

The injured woman was taken to the hospital with an arm injury and later discharged herself. But she returned to hospital on Monday 4 February and sadly died earlier today.

Major Crash have been advised and are investigating.

The woman’s death brings the State’s road toll to 14 compared to 7 at the same time last year.
