Brisbane Roar are inviting you to help them kick off the new A-League season at next week’s Eats & Beats food truck and music festival.

The popular monthly event, proudly presented by Logan City Council, will be held at the Roar’s training base at the Logan Metro Sports Park on Friday, September 27 from 5pm to 9pm.

New Roar Head Coach and Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler as well as the entire Roar squad will be on hand to mingle with fans ahead of the new season which starts in October.

“It’s an exciting opportunity to once again host the Eats & Beats food truck and music festival at our City of Logan home,” Brisbane Roar CEO David Pourre said.

“There’ll be plenty of delicious food and fun to be had fun for the whole family as well as the chance to take some photos and meet all the players.

“We are a club for all of Queensland and we’re excited to once again be part of a terrific event in the City of Logan.”

Away from the football there’ll be the usual Eats & Beats cavalcade of food trucks with tastes from all over the world as well as top local music acts.

With the weather warming up there is no excuse not come along.

The Roar begin their A-League season against last year’s Grand Finalists Perth Glory in WA on Sunday, October 13.

Their first home game of the year is on Friday, October 25 against Melbourne Victory at Suncorp Stadium.

Council invested more than $9 million to redevelop Logan Metro Sports Park to make it the headquarters of the Brisbane Roar Football Club and Football Brisbane.
