Police are investigating an assault and robbery overnight in Park Holme.
Just after 1am on Monday 4 October, patrols were called to a takeaway shop in the Park Holme shopping centre, after two men and a woman attempted to drag a man out of a Mercedes sedan parked at the front of the shop. The trio then grabbed a handbag from the victim who ran into the store being followed by the suspects.
A further altercation took place inside the shop where another man was hit in the head by one of the suspects with a hammer and a woman was kicked. The group then fled in a white Toyota Landcruiser XBH881.
There is no description of the suspects at this time and investigations are continuing. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000. Anyone who spots the white Toyota Landcruiser, is asked to call the Police Assistance Line on 131444.
The victim was taken to the Flinders Medical Centre for treatment of minor head injuries.
