Robbery at Fulham Gardens service station

Police are searching for a suspect after an aggravated robbery at a service station in Fulham Gardens last night.

About 8.30pm on Saturday 15 August, police were called to Tapleys Hill Road, Fulham Gardens following reports an offender armed with a knife had robbed the service station.

The suspect made threats to the staff member before taking cash and running from the scene.

Western District patrols with the assistance of PD Arlo, PD Webster and PolAir searched the area for the suspect. He was last seen on foot south on Tapleys Hill Road towards Henley Beach.

The suspect is described as about 180cm tall, wearing a black cap, black jacket and a black and white scarf covering his face.

There were no reports of physical injuries.

Western District detectives and crime scene investigators attended the scene.
