Robbery suspects arrested at Flinders Park

Police have arrested four people following incidents at two Flinders Park service stations early this morning.

Just after 4.30am on Saturday 15 July, four female suspects attended a service station on Grange Road and forced entry by kicking in the glass entrance doors. The suspects stole various food items and left the scene.

A short time later, about 4.45am, the same four suspects attended a second service station across the road and allegedly jumped the counter and assaulted the staff member. The group made off with numerous packets of cigarettes.

The staff member was treated by SA ambulance at the scene for minor injuries.

Patrols cordoned off the area and PD Edge and his handler were called into assist with the search but were unable to locate anyone.

As a result of investigations, Detectives from Western District CIB attended a home at Flinders Park about 10am this morning and arrested all four suspects.

A 19-year-old woman from Northfield, a 14-year-old girl from Valley View, a 17-year-old girl from Flinders Park and a 13-year-old girl from Hope Valley were arrested over the incidents. They have been charged with aggravated serious criminal trespass, theft and aggravated robbery.

The oldest three have been refused bail and will appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates and Youth Courts on Monday. The 13-year-old girl was bailed to appear on 7 December.
