Robbery with violence in Woodridge, QLD

Police are investigating after a man was assaulted and robbed in Woodridge overnight.

Initial information suggests that a man was walking on Netball Drive when he was approached by a group of juviniles at around 10.30pm.

The group demanded the mans phone and money, and when he didn’t comply, they assaulted him and stole his phone.

The group then fled the scene on foot and the man contacted police.

The man was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hosptial for treatment of injuries to his face.

Investigations are continuing.
