Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are investigating a fatal crash that occurred in Rockingham yesterday, Tuesday 10 January 2023.
About 1.45pm, a 55-year-old man was riding a Kawasaki motorcycle along Ennis Avenue before turning into Dixon Road. Just after the intersection the motorcycle struck the rear of a Holden Jackaroo which was in the right lane of Dixon Road, before hitting a supermarket semi-trailer that was in the left lane.
The rider received critical injuries as a result of the crash and died at the scene.
