Rowville arrest for drug trafficking

Croydon Divisional Response Unit detectives have arrested a man and dismantled what is alleged to be a large-scale party drug distribution syndicate operating throughout Melbourne following search warrants executed in Rowville this morning (5 March).

Search warrants were executed at a Swaran Close property just after 7.30am with a number of items seized including what is alleged to be quantities of ecstasy/MDMA, ketamine, cocaine, cash, designer watches and equipment used for drug manufacturing/ trafficking.

A 22-year-old man was arrested at the scene and has been charged with trafficking a commercial quantity of drugs and possessing the proceeds of crime.

He has been remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
