Due to the current wet weather event and road closures, Ballina Shire Council’s Resource Recovery Team are unable to complete some rural bin collection services.
Bin collections services impacted on 24 February 2022, include:
- Gap Road
- Howards Road
- Sections of Houghlahans Creek Road
- Crosbys Lane
- Sections of Friday Hut Road
Collection will be delayed until 25 February, or when flood waters recede and access is reinstated. Where possible, Council asks residents to leave their bins out ready for collection as soon as possible.
