As part of the new State Planning Reforms, the State Government has released a final revised draft of the Planning and Design Code – Phase 3.

The proposed new planning system could change our City’s landscape and impact the residential character of your street or suburb, potentially affecting your general sense of community.

As an attendee to one of our Community Information Sessions held in February 2020, we would like to invite you to be part of an online information session hosted by City of Burnside.

This session will explain some of the proposed changes that impact our City in more detail, as well as providing the opportunity to have some of your questions answered in a live Q&A session.

This session will be held on Wednesday 9 December 2020 at 6 pm – 7 pm.

Members of the City of Burnside team will be on hand to answer your questions during this session.

If you can’t attend the session, a recorded version will be made available on www.engage.burnside.sa.gov.au.

This is our final chance to have a say and if any of these issues concern you, Council encourages you make a submission to the State Planning Commission by Friday 18 December 2020.

A revised copy of the Code along with some helpful tools to make a submission, including a letter template and a document library can be found online at www.engage.burnside.sa.gov.au.

Please register your attendance in advance. After registration you will receive an email with details on how to join the session.
