Sandbags available free for residents in Alexandra and Yea

To help residents prepare for possible flooding later this week, Council is providing sandbags free to residents at Council’s Operation Centres in Yea (North Street) and Alexandra (Shamrock Street). Sandbags are available at both locations from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm Wednesday 12 October and Thursday 13 October .

Please call the SES on 132 500 if you require assistance to protect your property from imminent flood, or for assistance with damage to buildings/roofs in the event of flooding or inundation.
