The National Capital Authority has signed an agreement with South Coast Seaplanes to offer scenic flights of the National Capital from Lake Burley Griffin.
Flights will be around 15 minutes in duration and operate on selected Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from March, from Acton Peninsula on West Basin.
Passengers will enjoy spectacular views of the National Capital’s iconic institutions including Parliament House and the National Library of Australia, as well as Lake Burley Griffin and the bushland that has made Canberra known around the world as Australia’s ‘bush capital’.
