Still basking in the afterglow of winning what many thought was the unwinnable election and with weeks of dead political airtime before parliament sits again, Scott Morrison may be tempted to make some sort of grand gesture on indigenous politics – either by referendum or by law.
The Conservative Party cautions against such a rash move.
