Scooter stolen in CBD, South Australia

An Uber delivery driver had his scooter stolen in the CBD overnight.

The victim was confronted by a man on Flinders Street, near Hutt Street, Adelaide, about 3.45am on Wednesday 5 December. The suspect threatened him and stole his red Kymco 50cc scooter, registration S93BEZ.

The stolen scooter was tracked on cameras north along Hutt Street, then via Frome Street to North Adelaide before police lost sight of it.

The victim was not physically injured during the robbery.

The suspect is described as a man of Caucasian appearance, aged in his mid to late 20s, with short brown hair and wearing a light cream top. He was not wearing a helmet.
