Scuba diver critical after pulled from water in Clovelly

A scuba diver is in a critical condition after being pulled from the water in Sydney’s east today.

About 9.40am (Saturday 4 July 2020), emergency services were called to Gordons Bay near Clovelly Road, Clovelly, following reports a scuba diver needed assistance.

The diver, a 53-year-old woman, was pulled from the water by other divers who commenced CPR, before the arrival of NSW Ambulance paramedics.

The woman was taken to Prince of Wales Hospital in a critical condition.

Officers from Eastern Beaches Police Area Command attended and commenced inquiries.
